Not sure. I'll bring it into the doctor's office next time I have an appointment. See how it compares to the mechanical method.

That said, it had a lot of good reviews on multiple "review" sites for what it's worth. My standard process for purchases.. especially on items I have no clue on... read blood pressure monitors, bathroom scales (which I just purchased as well)...

Ps. Down from 277 lbs since March (now weigh 216).

Good price... Now at that price I start to wonder how good its is.

I used to have a watch that did pretty well every thing, the O2 was bang on but the BP was way out of wack.

I picked myself up an early Christmas present to add to my toolbox. It’s a Dewalt XR 20v jigsaw. It came with another bag , charger and ( 2 ) 20v 5ah batteries.

My current NAS is 8TB and a big chunk of that is taken up by all my RAW photo files. This new NAS will be 12TB in RAID5, which should be plenty. I don't plan on adding many more RAW files as I'm not as active with photography these days, so there will be way more data space available for backing up all the devices in the house. Synology has an excellent client app for PC and Macs for doing incremental backups. My iPhone pics even get backed up automagically.

I am completely satisfied with the DS918+ that I purchased early in the COVID lockdown. It runs several Docker containers for network gadgets/services that I used to run on standalone Raspberry Pi computers, plus a VM for my Home Assistant deployment.....

The DS220+ makes an excellent NVR when you run Surveillance Station. People always complain about the per camera license fee, but a good 8MP (4k) PoE camera runs about $85 and the license is $59, so you're still under the $150+ that crappy USB cameras like the Logitech Circle View or the Eufy stuff cost. And the image quality and 24x7 recording just blows those other systems away. I now have 11 PoE cams on my system.

My Amcrest NVR cost less than a Synology NAS, and has no per-camera license fee. As an added bonus, using Amcrest cameras with their NVR allows for H.265 streams instead of H.264, which uses significantly less bandwidth and disk storage. Plus, nobody in my town will question its capability of getting a murder-2 conviction from the crackhead who burned down our neighbor's house and killed him.....

Surveillance Station also does H.265. I love the software and interface. It's true that an Amcrest NVR can be cheaper, though. But since I have a dedicated NAS for it, I'll stick with it.

Just initial impressions of the Samsung “equivalents” were surprising. Similar pricing and felt WAY cheaper. Flimsy plastics, lighter doors that felt like they were going to snap, etc.

LG has been great in the past. Would have liked Speed Queen for the laundry room, but the invoice was already racking up…

We have LG washer / dryer in our primary residence and Samsung washer / dryer in our vacation condo. Really like the LG washer and Samsung dryer.

When you spend hours on your feet and want comfortable boots, I took advantage of Black Friday and they added a 20% off coupon for a future purchase.
