We're going with McNab's Touriga Nacional this evening, served with a local Oaxacan restaurant's chile rellenos and tacos dorados.

The strengths of each marry very well together: flavor, balance, texture; and, most especially, a lack of qualities needing to be overlooked.

Anyone try this one yet? I saw it in the liquor store and thought I would give it a shot. It was just OK compared to the regular Caymus.

I saw that at Sam's Club the other day, but passed on it. Did you still enjoy it at all, even though it wasn't "the real deal"?

It was OK. Not as full bodied as the real deal but close to that unique Caymus taste. I would choose it over some other options but Caymus is my favorite by far. I’ll just stick with the original. Price point wasn’t much different. Try it and let me know your thoughts.

There was a change of plans. I got invited to free lodging in Monaco Thursday afternoon by friends I met on a. BMW driving adventure in Sweden. I was on a flight out of LA Friday night and in the ground in Monaco by 7:45 pm Saturday for dinner. First night, Zhou Guanyu was sitting across from us and we got a photo. Flight home tomorrow. Maybe June will be less eventful.

Since I didn’t feel like / have room to transport bottles from FL to NC, I ordered three bottles (2017-2019) of Alpha Omega Stagecoach, which arrived in Asheville today.

Well I didn’t run out completely before ordering so I still have a few other bottles in stock here. Also have some alternatives. Should be able to get through at least the end of next week.
