The Lancia Stratos Zero was a very small vehicle powered by a 1.6 liter V-4 producing 113hp.

I get it. Mine has a 347 stroker that makes 438hp at the flywheel and 418 lb.ft. of torque. The car weighs about 2,200lbs. I think I'm about at the top of the truly drivable power point. The sweet spot is around 300hp for these cars in my opinion. A lot of builders think they need 500+ hp, but find they can't control the wheel spin at virtually any speed.

Looks like there'd be a lot of drag from those front fenders.

I admire any and all Ferraris -- particularly one with a four-cam V-12, etc., but when Chevrolet later copied the roofline styling for the Chevy Monza 2+2, I was pretty bummed.

"The Monza 2+2 debuted as a single-model 2+2 hatchback. The Monza is 4 inches (100 mm) longer and weighs 180 lb (82 kg) more than the Vega from which it is derived.[3] General Motors' John DeLorean nicknamed it the "Italian Vega", citing styling with a strong resemblance to the Ferrari 365 GTC/4." |
