Congratulations on having exposed me as the morally bereft narcissistic chronic re-poster that I am. I shall seek professional guidance immediately, that I might abandon my horrible habits and regain a respected position in society.

Actually I meant your cat looked so nice I remembered you posting. And no, I don't like mistakes about anything (your time estimation as I got it: now I see it was deliberate). You are free to dislike that. Don't bother to take it close though. There are many re-posters here around. It's not necessarily annoying. Your re-post is fine in my opinion.

So he didn't end up with a lampshade because the vet thought it might rub on his sutures. Instead, he has a wrap around his head.

Awww...there's our guy! Yeah, that looks like the dressing that makes the most sense. How's he doing?

He was definitely out of it last night, but you could tell the pain med was helping after he had it with his food. He doesn't seem to mind too much about having the dressing on.

Haha, I can see some resemblance in that picture.

My wee fuzzy one had a bad tooth pulled out under general anaesthesia about 6 months back. She had the lampshade on and was hammered off her ass when I brought her home. She was confused and disoriented and restless so I picked her up and let her nestle her head under my chin and fall asleep in my arms as I leaned back on the couch. She slept for a couple hours, and was much better when she woke up. It was really sweet. The closest I'll ever come to raising a child.

I hear you there; it's the closest for me as well. My guy has needed a couple of teeth pulled over the years as well.

Our dog (Westie) must have felt threatened in the middle of last night. He set up an elaborate grid of squeaker toys outside the bedroom door, and was sleeping on the floor just inside the doorway where he could react quickly if an intruder triggered any of his landmine alarms.

He sets up these squeaker nets a few times per year, and it takes him an hour or more to scrounge up all of the toys and carefully place them in his pre-planned detection grid. He also knows most of his colors. Amazing how smart he is...sitting exactly 6 feet away from me right now.....

Yep....figured there would be a panic buy of that as well. At least it was easier to find than TP.

I have an automatic amazon order for my dogs food thats due this week. We also grabbed a small bag at the store. I feed him the expensive stuff so there was plenty of it at the store.
