My carry doest have a safety either, bought purposely without. You also dont know what condition zero means. Chambered and no safety ready to shoot. Review basics. Educate yourself.

Dont make claims like a 2 second draw, youre at more like a 5 to 6 second with assessing target, taking aim, and firing a semi accurate shot.

1 second from concealment is world class fast. I would love to see a 2 second Israeli draw. An attractive lady performing that would be icing on the cake !

The SIG-models neither have a safety lever and for that reason I wont carry my pistol ready loaded holstered. Might be another country and if I draw my weapon public for defense, the pure look at it let the most agressors think twice if they risk to get shot. If that isnt enough, a quick slide pull would do.
At yours US its maybe more "normal" to get threated by a gun and you have to force your acting to make the opponent clearly visible that hes only a trigger-pull from lethal harming away.

What specifically was a pain? Was it the cutting of the foam?

I've been thinking of doing this for a while for my rifle, just because I love the look. Hollywood got to me I guess.

Your case looks great even though you say it isn't finished!

You have never seen me draw a weapon. So how can you know my draw time?

Thanks! The cutting of the foam was the hard part. The right way to cut through the foam is by making a hot wire cutter. I really didn't feel like taking on a small project to start this foam cutting project so I just used a razor blade. The cuts are just not as clean as they would be with a hot wire cutter. But I can totally live with it.

The reason I say it's not finished is because I still need to glue the piece of foam that I cut out to the solid piece of foam underneath. Then I need to glue the foam risers that are underneath the gun in place. Once everything has dried, coat the foam with a layer of black plastidip. The plastidip gives the foam added durability and prevents it from tearing while pulling the gun in and out.

If someone was carrying 'israeli' and able to draw and fire from concealment in a second (or 2) we would have heard about that person.

I just checked my notes, and at the end of a 2 day class I was able to draw and fire from a holster (not concealment) in 1.94 sec, I was no where near the fastest in the class.

I would encourage anyone and everyone to get formal proper training, until you have, you really don't know what you don't know. I am nowhere near being an expert, but I am fully aware of that fact.

Plaxico Burress probably took under a second to shoot himself in the leg, sounds legit

You literally just bought the gun, there is no way you can draw concealed, chamber, aim properly, and fire the gun. You can probably do it in 3 seconds and hit the target in the lane next to you.

That time is not realistic.
