It seems to be ok as long as everyone is civil and doesn't make a big deal about this thread. You are probably fine to at least talk about the build and post a photo of the finished product.

I'm gonna go to shooting range and fire warning shots at ceiling to let everyone know I'm there.

Ok, let me know if this needs to be taken down. This is my 1911 80% project, it turned out very good, shoots well, reliable. I have about 25 to 30 hours in it.

I have many pictures along the way, if anyone is interested.

There is no external safety on a glock ding dong, I know this was meant to be a joke.

That's the capacitor gaurd it's unloaded. Make sure you plug it in so battery stays charged.

Another fun Glock fact. When the trigger is in the back position, it's impossible for a round to be chambered. So it's technically, not loaded.

If you get pulled over pull the weapon out quickly and show the cop out the window so they know and won't be surprised

Beautiful gun. I wish I had the time to learn 1911s inside and out. I went as far as buying a couple colts but I can't shoot them any better than my hks or Glocks.

Serious. Carrying a firearm in condition zero is a huge no no, super dangerous.

Why?

I can draw my weapon in 2 seconds, 1 second if there is a round in the chamber. What is your issue with carrying without a round in the chamber ready to go? I dont have an external safety for that added protection, so this is my way of doing it. You can carry how you choose. I can carry how I choose. Gosh, I love America. We can do what we wish.
