I replaced a previously owned IS version and am excited to test it.

I traded-in a 70-300L lens for one of these and then I hardly ever used it. I used to use the 70-300L all the time. The 2.8 is fast, but I missed the extra 100mm reach. But everyone's needs are different. I hope you really like yours. It is a great lens.

Two of these. One for the TV/Apple TV box/Eufy Homebase in the living room and one for my PoE switch and wifi node in the garage. We've been experiencing short but repeated power blips and they wreak havoc on the network and Homekit setup. Hopefully by keeping the network running despite the blips, things won't go south so often.

I've been meaning look into these. While outages aren't really common for me it's annoying how long it takes for some of the "smart" things to be smart again once the power is restored.

Like our cars, there are simply some tools that a pro needs in the kit. I'm mainly a prime lens guy with 50L, 85LIS and 100MacroLIS but the 16-35/4LIS and 70-200/2.8L of any variation is essential. Have you thought about adding a teleconverter to your kit?

I have both the 1.4x and 2x converters. I also have the 100-400L II, which is a great lens.

Is that the 600VA? I've been thinking about getting one. This just might make me pull the trigger.

Very, very nice! I have the F4 version and even though I'm sure it comes nowhere close to the 2.8, it's my favorite lens and hardly comes off the body.

Yes, 600VA. They both set up easily. They're much lighter than I expected, too. I may grab a couple more. Our power blips usually last a minute or less, so these should work out fine for the lightweight stuff I have plugged into them.

Considerably lighter than the F2.8, though.

Garage List
Picked this up on Monday. We are redoing our garage and I wanted something I can put my tools on when I am working in the garage close by. 1 of many purchases to make the garage nice and full of storage.

Ordered them in February, picked them up in May when it was too hot to get all snuggly in bed. Putting them on tomorrow, can't wait!

I'm picky about sheets, let us know how it goes.

How do you like them? I read a few mixed reviews on amazon.

First of all: The negative comments onto the fitment of the enclosed 3-different-size pads are all true. I had used at the end a pair of my remaining pads of Dr.Dre Beats and now the fitment is perfect.
Sound, loudness, quality and noise cancellation are ok, don't expect too deep basses but the overall sound is ok for me.
Very quick rechargement, I use them up to aprx. 2h into the gym and they're lasting w/o probs, recharging independently into the box in-between now for the third time w/o recharging the store box.
Had payed onto Prime day around 28 bucks and be fine with them.

Will do. I'm sure it will go well, as we have slept in these sheets before. If you're ever in Carmel, Ca, check out the Tickle Pink Inn for a test drive of your own. They're glorious.

The original ladder was cheap to begin with and had a max load of 225lbs, which seemed optimistic. So now a new, all-aluminum one is going in. Getting the old one out was a pain in the ass.

Do you have a link to where you purchased this? I need to replace ours.

Thank you!
