I really like my wheels. Other BMW, AMG, Audi, etc are very hit and miss for me.

Almost every BMW M car has had legendary wheel designs, and plenty of other BMWs have had great wheels too. I can't believe they didn't mention the Turbine Wheels. The M-system wheels are my favorite of all time, and both the turbine and throwing starts are iconic (and forged functional racing wheels). It would have been cool to see some comparisons on manufacturer techniques and weights as well (e.g., forged vs. cast, BBS vs. fuchs, etc.).

I wasn't the biggest advocate of the E60 M5 wheels. They're not terrible, and definitely look better in person than in pics or vids, but I still felt they were kinda "blah." I tried as hard as possible to like them, but ended up changing them out.

CSL for me all day .. in my mind it is about the only style that belongs on these cars ..
437m are my favorite current offering, but I'd probably sell even those for some CSL style. How about the corrosion issues though ... After 3 winters my 400m set is starting to molt already. I don't care for them anyway, aesthetically, too heavy / too narrow .. it's sad but I think I will sell them and not get much in return |

I'm still rocking the stock 19s on my F80 but if those were made in 19" and the correct offsets.... I'd have to get a set.

These are the only BMW M rims/wheels I like for any BMW. Their timeless classics and very BMW and suite the M cars very well. They look sharp!!!
And especially the new take on them, modern yet still classic. By the way I like my wheels in BLACK! |

Although, seeing the love they are getting in this thread, I wouldn't be too surprised if some aftermarket company brings them to market more true to the concept design.

IMHO the coolest BMW wheel off the Z4 concept (unfortunately the production version was not so good).

Even though my next car isn't a BMW, I'm keeping my black 359s because I love them so much. The factory 193s go back on the car when we part company.

But then you have to deal with the VW Group. i'll pass, and this has nothing to do (directly) with their massive emissions scandal / cover-up. IMHO the VW Group has been the worst manufacturer l've ever had the displeasure to deal with.
VW = Buyer beware!
