BMW is not in trouble.
And it’s cool to have Superman in the forum, as it seems you have X-Ray vision.

What a weird question.

How the hell do you know it’s a ‘POS’?

At this point I seriously think there is mental illness epidemic. It’s like many people have so much hate in them, they have spew it whenever they can. You don’t even see this car. Nobody you know drove it yet. We just barely see the shape of it, which may pretty much look like a big E30. Nothing would get good reactions from this forum anymore.
It’s impossible to get excited or happy about anything on any topic, because of the hate filled, trolling weirdos.
Not just for cars, but for anything.

I wish there was a real BMW fan forum somewhere, clear of trolls.

There isn’t an EV mandate.
If you don’t know what the word ‘mandate’ means, well, that negates your last sentence up there.

  • In production 11/26-6/35
  • Planned NA0 (i3 sedan) model lineup: 40, 40 xDrive, 50, 50 xDrive, M60 xDrive
  • Model range: 20, 40, 40 xDrive, 50, 50 xDrive, M60 xDrive
  • Other models: 3M, i3M Touring, iX3M, iX4M are now in the official plans.
  • M variants: ZA0 M3 / ZA1 M3 Touring

2026 BMW i3 Sedan (NA0)

People here never understand Bmw make cars for the future
They want the same design over and over, they complain about everything
They don't even read, this is pure electric platform, probably the next
ICE 3 series will share the design language a little bit with that boxy
Straight line design (I'd love it) also, it seems BMW will use some retro -style
In the next models, stop complaining, we are in 2024 no 2002 any more
It seems the shark nose of the 70s will come back as well, love it
Also remember the IDrive X or BMW panoramic vision will be available with
The 7 series' LCI (rumored) but it is confirmed to be available in the LCI version
Of the brand new G90 (LCI will be out in 2027)
Nothing, stay healthy so you can enjoy the future.

True, they complain for everything just seeing pictures, but, most of them are old people, when it comes to the forum, I was thinking the same, you can contact me if you want to create a truly fan base of BMW, I'm like a BMW nerd, I'm almost an automotive tech as well

I am very interested in this especially as a touring version. I do not want the 5 series its to big for my taste nothing wrong about the car but for me its to big, i had the i4 it was good but almost a bit on the big side for me, always liked smaller cars like the 2 series when it launched in 2014 i would love a touring in that segment but as an ev with about 600 km would be more then doable for me but the more the better :-) So if the i3M Touring arrives soon enough with around 600 km of range when dirving likea normal person to say. Then this will do perfectly for me. And looks are as always up to each and everyone.

Exiting times for BMW ahead.

The new mantra of the forum is- if you don’t like it, you will be flamed and called names. It’s only human to give first reactions when nobody knows or has seen any element of the car.

Gone are the old days of respectful, light hearted banter. The venomous attitude of calling out and quoting every single post here is just simply toxic.

Looking at you Cortexiphan, and I m very certain this is not your first time.

Jason and other mods, where is this forum going?

No hoffmeister kink? I wouldn’t guess this is a BMW looking at the side profile.

Started stop buying BMW’s after my last car. This isn’t exciting me. The only good looking BMW’s (like the stop) are not available to buy. Great recipe for financial success…

Unfortunately they commited one of the cardinal sins of car design which is to raise the hood line way above the window line. It makes every car instantly look FWD/ econ car (see 2 Series Gran Coupe).

I assume that makes it more aerodynamic but then again none of the competitors has it (Model 3, BYD Seal, NIO ET5), except for the Mercedes EQ sedans and we all know what they look like ()

They specifically covered that area up with panel and camo, you can't even see it. Like someone else said earlier, maybe you have Superman X-Ray vision.

This is something I noticed too. It looks like it's very tall and narrow which makes it look low end for some odd reason lol. This prototype reminds me of the proportions of like a 07 Nissan Sentra.

So much negativity and we can’t even tell what it looks like under there.

Besides the obvious like the ford mustang front end, 1990 Acura Legend rear end, 2005 Lexus IS taillights, the belt line from a Kia, and the side profile of a Buick.

What’s not to love? I’d say give it some time and it will look timeless and be super unique. That fancy pants BMW design team is really putting their heads together on this one.

Factually incorrect. The USA is the #1 market for BMW sales.

Hmm. Do you mean country or market, I would consider Europe and USA to be equivalent given population and geo size. And clearly China is a much larger market at nearly double the US. Last year China was above double - almost 2.5x- the US market. Big decline there y/y.

Considering that ICE and EV versions of the 5 and 7-series share the same bodies, I see no reason why the same wouldn't be true of the next 3-series.
