1 cup of decaf black coffee, 5 scrambled eggs, half a cup of oats and a handful of fruit.

Today's breakfast was yankee pootine (sic) for a change. I was NPO for over 24 hours before an hospital inpatient procedure yesterday, and had a whole pile of fries left over last night that came with the dinner that I picked up on the way home. Put them in the air fryer to re-heat, rolled up some substitute cheese slices due to not having curds, and whipped up some DIY pootine (sic) gravy out of vegetable broth, starch, flour, garlic powder, and whatever items we had in our kitchen chemistry set that were listed in the St. Hubert's ingredients label (except the MSG and salt). I thought that the gravy came out well, but admittedly have never sampled authentic Canadian poutine gravy to contrast it to.....
