We're getting together tomorrow. I didn't finish work until after 6 PM today. Meeting at 4 for drinks, dinner at 7:30 and then...

Right about the time the memorial for my aunts father (whom I've never met or even heard about) starts on the far southern edge of LA that my wife nominated me to drive to

I'm depending on you to enjoy ourselves!!!!

This come up this morning on my Facebook memories from 2012.

I’m nearly 6ft 2 and my son, who is approaching 20, is now taller than me. Can’t imagine him on the back of any bike now!

Got up early enough to see the sun come up today, was very nice. Used to be a gym freak, but life got busy and I haven't been in a while. Woke up early this morning, and just seeing the sun come up was worth it. Going to try and make a habit out of this.

So just a bit ago I went home for lunch, and on my way back I decided to have a little fun (why not, traffic is light, and it's 62°). No cars ahead, so easy through first gear, easy shift to second, let the revs come up to 2000, roll on the throttle and just the smoothest breakaway painting grey stripes down the road for half a block. Just a fantastic feeling. I giggled out-loud.

Yeah, well, if ever there is a dull moment between your fiance and you and you feel you need to strike up a conversation, you can always casually mention that you requested T&A pics recently.

I promise, the conversation will get quite lively. But the ability to laugh at yourself is a good ability to have in this type of conversation.

Rode my motorcycle into work today, for the first time in a couple months; forgot how much I missed riding. Started drizzling tho, but nothing crazy. Looking like 72-75 degrees for my ride home, stoked.

Without adding a ski on the front wheel, you can't do that in Minnesota

I rode twice last week.

Nice! It's been pretty much 25-40 degrees for a while now, and with my 30 mile commute, that's a bit too cold for me. Was 58 degrees when I left this morning, so I just put a hoodie under my AS textile jacket, and I'm good to go.

Leaving the house at oh-dark-45 is tough, but one day I had a breakfast meeting that didn't start until 7:30. I slept in AND rode!!!

Yeah, only the most hard-core of the hard-core ride in the winter here. And usually just briefly during warm spells. The roads are actually clear right now, but the piles of sand and salt lurking at the intersections would ruin a ride really quickly. Not worth putting the insurance on it for a day or two of riding. Of course, there are the folks who do ice racing on spiked tires. They're a particularly twisted lot.

It's a wee bit nippy today.

Something made me smile yesterday that shouldn't have, but yeah, it did.

CN: Saw a hottie from High-School that didn't know I was alive back in 1988 that looks absolutely terrible now, and I look, well, fantastic. She was hitting on me hard enough to leave bruises, and I was polite, but didn't give her the time of day. #karmaisabitch

LOL, I've seen a few on Facebook and yeah, same thing. Like they peaked too early. In F&F terms, "Too soon, junior".

I've heard of lots of this sort of thing happening. Got debriefs from our early class reunions, saying many of the pretty and popular people in high school were looking a little sad.
