During this Austrian race weekend, Jos Verstappen has spent time in the Mercedes motorhome with Corinna and Mick Schumacher. Rumor has it that Horner didn't appreciate. Toto Wolff keeps suggesting that Max Verstappen is still on his radar for 2025.

Also heard that several teams in the paddock are getting increasingly annoyed by Sainz, considering that he's overestimating his status. He was supposed to join Williams but is now, last-minute, also flirting with Alpine as some (albeit minor) chance exists that Alpine will switch from Renault to Mercedes engines. Gasly obtained a contract extension at Alpine. Ocon was shown the door.

Furthermore, Ricciardo's days at Visa Cash App RB are numbered. Liam Lawson will get his seat in 2025. At least, that's what Helmut Marko said.

Jos didn't get to drive at the Legends parade and blames Horner for blocking him from getting a drive

Marko said Horner wanted Ric, Marko wanted Liam, all along

so it's still up to Horner whether Ric stays or Liam takes his place

it seems like a power struggle at the top where Danny Ric's only role in F1 is to piss off Marko for every minute that he's there

We always can hope that ,but Checo's gap to MAX is 1.32 sec. That's a sea of time at a very short track like Spielberg ...

Checo Isn't a real racer and a fighter like MAX , Charlie and Lando.
I think Checo has no chance vs LEW in the sprint race ...

Another concern is his 4th Honda PU in 10 races (!)

Don't blame the poor board guy, it's all in a days drama for the reds that Charlie was held up by the anti-stall glitch that he himself had to programme out crawling in the pit lane on board. In the end Fred is responsible for the strat person who held him too long missing the chequered flag, but then how would the strat guy or gal know Magneti marelli glitch would happen so no one to blame.
