Although my best finish so far is 5th in Canada with every other race out of the points, this game is tough compared to 2010!

Enjoyed the race. I wish more would push the time limit more often. I often watch and feel I want more. Button storming at the end was awesome. Congrats to Vettel for his impending 2nd championship.

Close call is when he passed Alonso half in the grass @ Monza this year. He seems like a really calculated driver, always thinking things thru really well. Gives German-efficiency a whole new meaning. Might not be as theatrical as some, but seems to be getting the job done with a lot of thought and driving precision. I'm really impressed with Button this year. His ability to pass & move his way through the crowd. He's another guy who doesn't lose his head, but runs like a mature driver.

The BBC commentators made a good observation on how Vettel has had all his big incidents only in FP sessions this year, specifically crashing in Turkey and Canada.

Sometimes you just get lucky. Things would have been way more interesting if that Lotus had hit Vettel pulling out of the pits.

That's taken a little out of context though, Smedley was just telling Massa to hold position as best as he could.
In the same context, Barrichello was told to kill Heidfeld here

My read from Rob's instruction was, stay ahead of Hamilton as long as you can.
Massa's on Prime tires and Hamilton is on Options. Each lap Hamilton is behind Massa will effectively ruin Hamilton's strategy and his tires. Thus when Massa jumps on Options later he will have a better chance to win, also gives Alonso much more breathing space and maximum points for Ferrari. i.e. Destroy Hamilton's race day by ruin his strategy that day. Force him to do extra pit stop or stuck with Prime tires longer. Given is Felipe Baby, he need a bit motivation. However, I think Rob Smedley was a bit emotional and impatient this season compare to previous ones. Remember he was mad when Massa's car got trouble in the pit stop (forgot where) and crussing when Alonso passed Massa in Spa.

True, I just thought it was funny that Massa was told to ruin Hamilton's race, and then Hamilton proceeded to hit massa's rear tire.
