I have some Stainless Steel filled with non toxic gel that are superb. Check Amazon and go for the highest rated ones.
Those never seem to cool my Irish whiskey sufficiently.

If I didn't know any better... I'd think you drink more of this than I do?

I am convinced that if more people actually knew of "ultra premium Rums" they too would be hooked!
I just find it so frustrating that when we go out for dinner and or drinks, restaurants and bars simply do not fathom this amazing spirit and only stock Bacradi or Captain Morgan. Pyrat if you're lucky.

Me... I am enjoying some EL Dorado 15yr. I can NOT get enough of these amazing Rums.

There is a huge difference. I bought the most expensive bottle of rum from the local liquor store and it was not drinkable neat, IMO. Plantation 20 is sooooo smooth and drinkable. I have yet to find anything that compares.

Binny's, the superstore in Champaign, had this rum on sale this weekend. I just find it hard to believe anything made by Bacardi is going to be that good. As a mixer? Sure. But to sip neat? Maybe not so much.

I've had that. No where close to the Plantation or even 4 or 5 other Rums I have in my bar.

This is another in my collection and I would say it is the next closest behind Plantation. Very sippable and excellent flavor.

Give it a shot and tell me what you think.

After 2 Old Fashioned at the Pho place Saturday night, I had to mosey on over to the bar and watch him make the 3rd, to see why mine don't taste as good. Never knew I needed a muddler, thought the orange tweest was just for looks.

Didn't have any more suitable whiskey when I got home to try making a 4th.
