When a leaky dishwasher = $8300 in all new appliances

Going out is GE Profile...fixed the fridge twice, dishwasher 3 times, microwave 3 times, stove - actually wasn't too bad, but it's 50 degrees under temp in 1 mode, spot on in another (so there's no manual adjustment), but the 2nd oven could never get to temp - warming area at best.

Hopefully KitchenAid is better...only got the dishwasher so far, everything else is on 3 month back order.

We also have not had great luck with GE Profile. Keep us posted on KitchenAid please.

I can tell you the KitchenAid dishwasher actually cleans dishes...something the Profile seriously lacked in doing (basically, prewashed all dishes prior to putting them in before). The new 3rd rack in these things are amazing as well. They hold so much more...

Just wait until you get the refrigerator and feel the difference opening and closing the doors. The KitchenAid is solid, the GE is like a tin can. I miss my KitchenAid appliances. I had them in my old house. I moved during the pandemic and couldn't get what I wanted for the new house. Had I known, I would have taken the old appliances with me.

Home Depot had a glitch on their site yesterday that doubled the rebate so it was $300 off a $500 purchase. I was only able to get one purchase through before they fixed it.

Was thinking to grab one of these...but @ $315 for the microtech Exocet stormtrooper edition...might need to think a bit more vs on a whim buy lol. Nice purchase!
