During the Presence sessions, Plant was in a wheelchair following a serious car accident and his involvement was limited. That is why there is all the angry compressed guitar dominating just about every song and a lot of experimentation - perhaps leftovers from HotH / PG.

By the time ITTOD was in the works, Jimmy hit rock bottom with his addiction and Bonzo was in no better shape. That is why that album is much more pop and synth oriented due to heavier influence by JPJ and RP.

Coda was mostly a collection of session leftovers.

I like the influences of John Paul Jones and Robert Plant in this album. It's different from their other albums and was very successful. The two songs I posted above are a couple of my very favorite LZ songs.
