That long-eared owl really hung around a long time yesterday and encouraged me to take many pictures of him, in the falling snow. I think that this is my best portrait shot:

Thanks guys! It's funny, I overlooked this red-tail series at first, because I ended up catching the bald eagles that day and was so excited with those that I didn't notice these at first.

Thanks guys. Ed, love that last hawk shot, wow.
Dave, yeah I am happy I got Dx0 11 ... it did not work for the one shot I wanted to use it for, but has worked awesome pretty much in all other instances. Have not used flash in a really long time since getting my 6D. |
