You're thinking exactly what the rest of us are thinking. Furthermore, it seems like the guy already knew her or was familiar with her based on the text screenshot, so he wasn't exactly a nobody.

In this instance, it's ungodly hot outside, I'm sweating, the sun in beaming down on us, I'm in uncomfortable shoes, I don't feel pretty, quick walk three blocks to the grocery store to pick some items with a colleague in tow, I would feel not right striking up a conversation with a hot guy. It would catch me off guard to have a conversation with him in that moment.

So, I'm very appreciate that he saw me, and instead of walking over to me, he decided to just send me a DM. Very sweet of him. I would have felt frazzled should he have approached me and that being our first encounter. I don't have full make up on, it's just not how I want a first encounter to go.

I always strive to look my best and be my best when I first meet someone. When I'm not wearing lipstick, I get self conscious. It's the little things like that. I just want first encounter to be perfect, if I can mange that.
I'm just……. wow!

Please do not take this as an attack, it is not. You are not perfect, you are a human being and that is what makes you, you. If it is going to go anywhere past a first or second date, the real you counts. Relationships are based on honesty. How long can you keep a facade going? Who cares if you don't have on lipstick. What do you do if he asks a question you aren't prepared for and don't have an answer scripted? I feel like a dinosaur....

Like I said, I'm very happy the way he handled that moment. Now, let's change the subject.
I've always been of the mindset to look your best at all times, in the event that you may bump into someone. Being comfortable in your own skin at all times is essentially the definition of "down to earth" and confident. If I were interested in someone and they blew me off in person, because they didn't look or feel a certain way; would instantly cause me to not be interested. Period.

Even if it's a weekend and I'm in old jeans and a t-shirt, I still make damn sure I look damn good in those jeans and t-shirt. Confidence exudes regardless of situational circumstances.

^^ I don't think it's superficial for most women it's just the way it is to look their best, it's always been like this going back a long time.

Perhaps it's just the small town that I live in, but I have to disagree. MOST women (around here at least) put no effort in how they look. Some do, but most do not.

Oh I was about to say - "da fuck? It's like none of us ever left" but I was wrong. It's worse, lol.

I mean, it's the same simpy circle jerk around Sara. Sara, loves to feed the simps, it's, entertaining sometimes because, well, it's very cringe lol. Like watching a slow motion train wreck I suppose.

But other times, it's too much. And some of y'all haven't figured out that half of what Sara says is just trolling. I mean, one hopes, LOL. Plus, she's been in Mississippi for a minute now. Southern cooking isn't healthy. She could be the size of the Goodyear blimp is all I'm saying.

'wit yo fine self'?!?!?!?

That is idiotic and corny AF. No Sara, this is not the mark of a classic gentleman. It's not even in the ballpark.

Dude, I live in TN. Pre and post pandemic. The good thing about post pandemic, is that these individuals are also the one's hiding from work; so they are not in the public eye too much at the moment.

Shoei, where the hell have you been?

Hiding from ASBSECU E93 . We had a brief moment way back and he just won't let that moment be that beautiful moment. Wants to keep pursuing. I'm tired. I just want to be able to enjoy my gawdamn happy hour without him blowing up my bimmerpost. Lemme sit here with the girls, don't need him cockblocking. I did not put on clean underwear just to have to deal with him. No sir.

That figures that in a small town or village the women will look 'Emmerdalish', going into a bigger town more it would be more prevalent to see women with make up and uptown (that word again) then you can easily be distracted when driving.
