I picked up a 2010 S1000RR this past winter and did some colour changing while it was in storage, I have nothing against Phoenix Yellow or Acid Green Metallic but it just wasn't for me.
I'm very happy with how it turned out and how it's holding up so far. It's plastidipped (Yes, I know, How could I ? ).

That flat red color is really Badass. It compliments the black trim of the S1K very nicely.

Did you take your fairings to a body shop for painting? I would like to change the color of my lower fairings to white, but I'm not sure if I should have them painted or dipped or wrapped... and I will be pissed if I don't like the end result because I HATE wasting money... thats why I haven't pulled the trigger on getting this otherwise simple mod done to my bike.

I just got my M1 about two months ago. Decided to start off with something new and small to learn. Picked up a 2014 Honda Cbr500r. So far so good

It's my first bike, just got into riding, the guy before me never rode it so it only has 260 miles on it. Some day I'll have a Triumph Speed Triple next to it.

Welcome to the forum!
Thank you!
I loved my SV.
Easy to ride and very forgiving.
Well, except once at a track when I was making a stupid choice.
Put 35,000 miles and went away to Arizona somewhere.

Welcome to the boards!

Rough drop! Love the Repsol CBR's, have been eyeing one at the dealership next door for some time now. How do you feel about yours?

I absolutely love mine.
I'm more like a supersport (600cc) rider than a superbike (1000cc).
So it works for me.

Though, if you are bigger guy, you might want to consider 1000RR instead.
Also 2014 CBR1000RR SP has everything you need.

And there are S1000RR HP... Endless.

Small dude. 5'9'' 135lb.

Went from a '08 ZX-10, to my now '12 650R. Kawi's for whatever reason.

I don't really want a liter bike again, it's just unnecessary, but I really want to get on a 600 with a little more power than I currently have with the 650.

I usually ride alone, so I'm just looking for something different that I can control myself with, which is already hard enough.

I'm 5'3", so tell me about it.

If that's the case, CBR600RR should be perfect for you.
You probably can put both feet on the ground.
Where I only can reach one foot only.

Ha, yeah I didn't have a hard time flat footing on the ZX10 or the 650, fortunately.

I thought about getting a ZX6, but I want to get away from Kawi and try something new.

Wouldn't mind a Duc of some sort, but I do mind the price tag.

Well, my Repsol wasn't all that cheap.
If you can find a 2013 brand new, it's still gonna be over $10K.
Taxes and everything probably somewhere $11,500-$12,500.
It was more like $12,500-14,500 last year.
