Yeah, for sure. Had a turn of events last weekend, so I need to figure out the next best one.

Good places to camp out that way? I'm looking to pitch a tent and find some good fireworks for 4th of July weekend since I have the 3rd as PTO.

Not sure about here (here) - but Pisgah National Forest has open camp sites...best option is to google search. I am not a big camping person

Lake Jullian (Biltmore Park) has a really good firework show, but it is PACKED with people because not many other options around the area.

Put a single pom in my backyard about 3 years ago. Got a few last year. This year it is freaking LOADED. I think they proliferate like blackberry, just don't have the quantity of thorns. I placed it in front of the chicken cage fence, and now they suddenly have shade most of the morning, AND I haven't watered the thing in about a year.

Hmmmm, debatable then. I like when I can at least enjoy them without having others basically sitting on my lap. Might have to go towards the coast or something. I don't know. I hate making decisions, I just like the doing part.

On a plus note; Coleman sent me a new regulator for their Roadtrip XE grill I bought a couple weeks back because it wasn't feeding the propane from the 20lb tank to the grill.

Got it fired up a little bit ago. Got to cook my first steak. It was wonderful. I am happy.

The Salamander is a horse lovers paradise...stayed there last year for 5 days. The place is UNREAL.

I grew up in Tryon and it has always been big horse country, but the center takes it to another level.

Both of these resorts are owned by the ex-wife of the BET founder...Shelia Johnson..?

If you have the chance to visit either place - You should go.
