I gave those guys suggestions in order to survive for a decade. One of em was to acquire Datek.

About 18mo-24mo later,
1. Our company was acquired for nothing (only 20% prem to cover the capgain taxes).
2. Datek was acquired by Ameritrade.

Conclusion: I really really really really really tried my best to shut my mouth. Yes, I was immature at that age, but I had to do it. It was matter of people getting laid off or not.

I think over the weekend I needed a 16mm socket to work on the kid's beetle, but the 9/16 fit pretty well. They both have 16 in them, they must be the same?

9/16=.5625

I don't think a 9/16 would fit on a 16mm bolt.

If it was supposed to be a 16mm bolt and you used a 9/16 socket and it worked (which it really shouldn't), I'd go back and make sure the right bolts are in there.

When in doubt, use some maths. Remember that the equation for standard to metric (mm) is 25.4.

16mm / 25.4

or 9/16 (.5625 * 25.4) will give you the closest metric size, which would have been 15mm, but even then, that's a lot of play to tighten down a bolt sufficiently without rounding the bolt head.

Hey-Sues, I'm a mathematician and that's way too much. I was just holding one side so I could use the socket on the other and my fingertips are too delicate from typing to do this usually.

I thought I was okay in math, until I met Mathematicians and Physicists. After lacking math to solve any physics problem, I decide to make a drastic measures to improve my math skills.

I decide to rename all the equations with funny name which also relate to the equations.

Let's look at some examples.
-Sturm–Liouville operator -- Sturm-Luger operator
- Schrödinger-- ShrinkDinger (Find that shrinked Dingy Particle Bro!)
-Lax pair -- (Let's go to LA to AL homie!)
-Euler–Lagrange -- Oiler sucks and got into their garage the dog house!
-Einstein field-- Einstein Bagel (Reg-1/2reg price)
