Absolutely. I owned a Dodge Daytona Turbo Z. It was junk and everything broke, but I loved how it looked. My son has a 93 Ford Probe GT that also looks great. I loved all of those coupes like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Subaru SVX. If this is fully electric with 4 motors, I will buy it in a heartbeat.

Hard to tell because they have a false camo panel covering the rear window, maybe a hofmeister kink? Does give me a little bit of e36 hatch vibes actually

Looks like a Kia. That's unfortunate.

Looks very interesting

But i fear it will lack the traditional angel eyes headlights and a traditional proper holfmeister kink.

But why does thing look like it has more ground clearance then my X5? Lol

I personally think it's fugly,; but it's just a prototype.

Before I get accused of being a mouth breather...
I owned a E12 530, 1980 320, E30 M3, E36 M3, E90 and current i4 M50, X5 and soon M2.

I just don't know what to make of it.
High rear end that makes the Bangle Butt look good. An extreme wedge. WT actual F!

Let just hope that this is a "Test Body" only.
Because the lines and shape are clearly visible. And IMO, clearly Fugly.
This coming from a F95 owner and soon to be M8GCC owner.

People complaining about a wedge shape on an enthusiast brand site is an unbelievable new low.

My guess is that those wheel hub motors and powertrain necessitated larger wheels and in turn higher clearance.

I wonder how it would affect driving dynamics with the weight of the motors shifting to/into the wheel. Usually high unsprung mass is a no-no for handling.

It would be especially great if they also fitted in the ZF 400V active suspension technology that Porsche is using in the Taycan and Panamera e-hybrid.

Comments here on anything new:
- it's ugly
- it's Kia, it's Honda, it's Ford
- it's heavy
- it's too high
- bring back XXX (enter a model name from 20 years ago)
- they have lost it, don't know what they are doing.

It's funny to read how people without engineering or design backgrounds (may be few here are engineers or designers) criticize multi-billion dollar company for every new model or prototype. Just because I've owned multiple BMWs in last 20 years, I'm not an expert in car design and manufacturing.

~400 mi range
~15 minute charge from 10 to 80%
~500HP/TQ
Hatchback (E36 Compact)
REAR WHEEL DRIVE

Camaro/Mustang clone. Actually, now that I think about it, it reminds me of the Ford Probelem.

It has a Polestar family shape, but I'm excited to see the final product.

Nice observation. Equally nice to see BMW reconsidering the current design language at least in the prototype form.

Here I thought everyone calling new BMWs "Kias" would be evidence of such likeness. Oh well, no opinions allowed from us non experts. Reminds me of covid where a lay person couldn't possibly know anything about the common cold.

Yeah- the motor mass being unsprung, along with placing the motor weight all the way at the extremities of the chassis seems like the design is on the wrong side of the laws of physics. We’ll see I guess.

It looks both modern and late 80s early 90s at the same time. Wonder if that’s a tonneau cover and we’re going to end up with a German El Camino
