Agree. Everything they make is gold. Similar to Romeo and Juliet and Cohiba with their Cubans :-)

Heading out to the local cigar shop this afternoon to pick up some Thanksgiving cigars. Oliva has been hard to come by lately so curious if anyone has suggestions?

Seen a few folks mention Padron and I actually haven't had one before so thinking to go in that direction.

Happy Thanksgiving guys

Just picked up a new humidor along with about 20 various sticks last night. Keeping it at the shop for him to work his magic and season it up right before bringing home. My existing humidor has glass on top and can't seem to keep humidity levels right.

I am a fan of Romeo y Julieta

missing the label since this was in 2015, and I was bringing them back from Canada to Denver

no need to remove labels anymore, which is great

Good luck with the new humidor. My guess would be the glass is doing a less efficient job of being an insulator than the cedar.

Not being Canadian please excuse the question, but are cigars prohibited from having bands / labels in Canada? And if so, how does the manufacturer identify their product?

Not at all. They are all banded, unless they aren't.

It was illegal to have Cuban cigars in the US for a loooooonnnnng time

So when I would go home to Canada and pick up cigars, I would strip off the labels and bring them back to Colorado

Then the US/Cuban embargo was lifted, so now you can bring back a small amount of Cuban cigars (personal use) without issue, and I don't have to peel off the labels anymore
