I am comparing on paper, as I said, in reality, someone shopping a Challenger would be very unlikely to be cross shopping for a BRZ/86 at the same time, but if we talking STRICTLY on a financial standpoint, a +/- 30k ,2+2, rear drive manual coupe, Challenger V6 is one of the few available options. Not saying they are comparable at all, I'm saying on paper if someone is looking for that exact spec, a Challenger will pop up.

At around 0:43 you start to get a sense of just how fast that thing is. Both of you were tearing it up out there. |

Yeah, that thing was well driven, and pulled on me on the straights. I knew what was up when he (or she) caught up to me on the back straight. While I was doing 160mph at like 2s into the video. Love it! I'm sure all the Porshes were drooling

I would never buy a 3,600 pound car. 3,200 is pretty much my limit. I also don't really want anything much longer than 170", which makes Mustangs and Camaros pretty much invisible to me.

To anyone complaining why no turbo....
Engineering explained did a whole video about it, in the end it has to do with packaging, weight distribution, cost, gearing, efficiency and so on, including tire diameters, unsprung weight increase from bigger brakes because the car will be heavier and go faster etc.... it would have had a huge domino effect at the essence of why the car exists would no longer be in correlation of what the car is meant to be, which would pretty much make it pointless. |

To appreciate a car like this you need to understand the thrill of driving at 10/10th on the track...that is something that most (including myself) are incapable of doing in their high powered and pricey cars because of lack of skill/fear of crashing. I often enjoy a track day in a spec miata more than my f80. Our cars have gobs of available torque whereas a car like this require exploiting the engine by maintaining the revs. Momentum cars are fun. I want one.

Feel it's too soft on styling. Lack of factory hot rod version yet in US I see sales going away. Nice to have a fun tossable car but having to rely on aftermarket support for a HP/Tq infusion kinda bites.
