Right, I didn't mean aftermarket kit, it's OEM. I've seen the M Sport body on a few 435i around town which, from the front at a distance, have fooled me into thinking it's an M4.
I would prefer BMW didn't dilute the M badge but on the other hand I don't need 50 M badges to know I'm driving an M4.
Now, this "SAD" car, from behind it's obvious the M badge is fake and the license plate frame is trying to sell it but the front....
This is one reason why I put a little more money into show than go. See my car coming down the street and there's no doubt!

I saw this super rare, super fast "Ford Fusion Mondeo Cobra" in the parking lot of the Ralphs Grocery store near where I work in Westlake Village, CA. What is the point of this? I honestly think it is not a bad looking car. Why not just be proud of what you have? I appreciate this car and others like it though, I really needed a good laugh.

This argument comes up all the time. People who know cars know what is fake and what is real. People who don't know cars don't care.

If a person has a a non-OEM M-badge on a non-M car, they aren't impressing anybody that that knows what they are looking at. That said, its not a crime either way. Its their car and if they want to look stupid in the eyes of knowledgeable car people, then I say go for it; it just give us something to giggle about.


If an true M owners want to debadge their M's, then they should do so. Why should anybody else care?
