Exterior is too Lexus looking. Side skirts don't work for me.

Front overhang seems ponderous.

Interior looks OK.

LOVE the car, hate the wheels. The car has enough angles and sharp edges - the wheels could have been a little more subtle. Easy issue to solve.

Lol I tried to mimic my GT3 with color and specs. (Chalk , PCCB, trim, dash etc) then I checked off a bunch of other crap. Looks nice. Just not sold yet. Like to see rs6 pricing first. Plus the turbo is up on the configurator now 🤦🏽*♂️

Absolutely stunning. Would love an estate but the wife is 100% against them. Honestly been looking at the V90 but that 4-cylinder engine worries me.

I’m curious, does she say why? This appears to be the issue most of the time and why people buy SUVs like crack.

There is also no M3 Touring to bring over. And even if there were, like the C63 Estate and RS4 Avant, given the tiny volume, there would not be enough margin to make a business case. You need sizable margins ($100k+ transaction prices) to make the numbers work on these cars.
I completely agree with you. However, they do have an M550i touring.

Mine prefers an SUV because she thinks it feels safer than a wagon. Higher up and bulkier equals safer in her books. Plus I think she likes the view being a bit higher up and having (arguably) better field of view for parking etc.

I would take a wagon every time.

EDIT: Forgot to add - loading gear and kids into a SUV is easier than bending down to wagon height. That's definitely a plus for the SUV if you have kids.

I disagree with this. When I have to put bulky or heavy items in the back, I'm always thankful for the lower lift-over height of the wagon.

I also find it more ergonomic only having to lift my kid's car seat to abdomen/chest height to clear its base and pull it out vs head height (it comes down to do you need to lift your arms below shoulder height or above it).

Agreed. I'm 6'2" and still find my GTI easier with the kid than our SUV.

There’s also cargo boxes and the like, much easier with a wagon.

Are you a midget? I have a pick up truck and a car and it's night and day difference with a child seat. Much easier with the truck. When would you lift something above your shoulders? Cuz I never have when loading anything in my truck. Are you putting things on the roof? Makes no sense

If I could get my typical BMW discount for this beauty, I'd take any damn color!!! I love the damn thing! That color is called Sebring Black Crystal Effect. Reminds me a little of Carbon Black Metallic on my M50i
