Finland wins!!

Well, almost. At least at this one thing we beat the damn Canadians and the now friendly Swedes! As we all know Denmark is evil anyway so they probably used Lego torture to get on the second place and new Zealand won probably fairly.

You dug deep for this one didn't you? Countless hours of research spent to find something where Finland was ahead of Canada.

Well...let me point out something then, that immediately stood out in the first few seconds of looking at the chart for corruptions 2017.

From 2014 to 2016, Canada's score has been very consistent, between 81 to 83. And for 2017, Canada's score is right in the middle at 82. So we are very consistent, very good.

However, and here is the extremely interesting part: From 2014 to 2016, Finland's score has been between 89 to 90 (also extremely consistent), BUT, for 2017, Finland's score has dropped to 85. Which means...you are becoming more corrupt. A downward trend if you will. Uh oh.

Hahaha, I found that while reading my quota of Washington post but you pretty much got it right. As soon as the press freedom organizations name pops in to my head, I'm coming after you again (if the same scandal didn't ruin our score in that too!)!

You are just lucky that I didn't point out the correlation between Finland's drastic increase in corruption levels in 2017 and how that corresponds to the year you returned to Finland.

Cross country skiing is torture and watching it is even worse than doing it. It is a completely fucked up sport and competing in it should be illegal!

I wouldn't say we had a rough day. Three medals is never a bad day. OK, we may only get one Curling gold and possibly a bronze which is a bit of an under performance and we lost the Women's Hockey gold medal game which happens once every five Olympics (that keeps us in good staid until 2038), but in the scheme of things ... we can afford to let the Americans and Swiss feel good for a day.
