Which for M cars its safe to assume that the percentage of male will be higher. So from a business perspective targeting male who are in the age range of 25-50 makes perfect business sense. Maybe where you live might have a 50/50 mix of male/female owners but you cannot project that to the rest of the country. Also, maybe you should go through different sub forums for G80, G82 and F90 to see how many of those members are male vs how many of them are female lol. Since you are so "woke" maybe you should get your facts straight before getting on the bandwagon lol. Don't claim it if you ain't it buddy. |

Such a cringe inducing, terrible ad,. "Courage into an expressive way of life" who writes or actually believes this drivel. It's hard to be excited about celebrating the "next race, the future" when that future looks like the XM. I think it's fair to say at this point, I am not M.

I read the comments first before watching the ad, so I was prepared for a shit show.
You guys are a tough crowd - that was one of most benign ads they've done in the last few years. If I were to find anything to criticize, it's that they flashed the cars onscreen too fast for the viewer to connect with each one, and i lol'ed at the male narrator sounding like movie bad guy talking through a voice distorter on the phone. I'll keep my thoughts about those who push back on diversity in advertising to myself, but may I point out that there is no lack of white male representation in this ad. It's beyond me why that allegation gained traction when everyone can disprove it with their own eyes. The main white male character doesn't look over 50 to me, but if he's too old for you, you can find younger guys at 1:02, 1:08, 1:09 and two at 1:14. |

So originally I watched this video without sound because it was about 3am in my house, and I thought why is everyone hating on this video. It looks great. Then when everyone was up in my house I watched it again with sound and I have to say WTF??? Now I understand and agree with what everyone been saying lol.
BMW really needs a revamp on their ads.

The worst part of bmw changing since I joined here almost 15 years ago is that no one can have an opinion any more, regardless of what side they're on. If you for what they put out, you get roasted. If you long for the cars of yesteryear, you get roasted.
Chalk it up to basically how the world works these days- from politics to cars, even social constructs as demonstrated in this thread. If the person doesn't agree with you, they're the enemy. And THAT, and only THAT is why I am NOT M (aside from not being able to get the m3 touring but that's a whole diff issue) Or maybe that's why I'm less and less Bimmerpost everyday….
