The Burmester® High-End Surround Sound System is oustanding But you should go for the CF-roof and the sport exhaust . Also for the sports package , with the 10 mm lowering of the suspension .

Particularly love the choice to spec black brake calipers! Classy move. Really like the overall color scheme. Personally I don't like the clear taillights. I think they cheapen the look, and they cost $990! White gauge accent seems like it's out of nowhere. I'd just keep them black, but whatever. The silver seatbelts are too much. Black will blend right into the black-red interior. No need to accent seatbelts anyway. Less is more here. No Sport Exhaust?

For me only guards red with the glass tilt/slide roof option with the sports exhaust/muffler.I would then hear the sports exhaust better.

Agree, those glass tails should come at a discount, not a premium. They look even worse in person. Save your grand.

I would like the sport exhaust but don’t care for the shape of them since they aren’t really distinguished from regular 992s. The regular exhausts are more traditional Turbo tips and similar to my Macan Turbo’s exhaust.
As for the Burmester, I am usually happy with the Bose, but when you’re spending that kind of money, what’s another $4k? As far as the suspension and carbon roof, I’m getting older so really don’t want to kill my back anymore lol. I also like the glass roof since it helps open up the cabin which would otherwise be fairly dark. |

Gotta opt for the $350 ionizer for that "positive impact on wellbeing". Millenials will soon rule this world...

The 911 turbo is a top performer. However at 200k+ it lacks the exotic factor and sound....

Well that may be true, but what I like about Porsche is that level of performance you also get reliability. You really can’t say that about McLaren, Ferrari etc. And maintenance is fairly reasonable as well. When I spend that kind of money, I’d rather be driving than on the side of the road or constantly visiting the shop.

Yeah great motor, but fugly car that really hasn’t been updated in the looks department during its long 13 year run except for the lights. I feel it has too much going on, kind of like the C8. The Huracan on the other hand somehow makes something with clean and simple lines look menacing. Very nice design and keeps with the Lamborghini family looks. You could argue the same thing about the 911, but I feel it has more of a timeless, clean and classic look. I would wait for Audi to finally revise it before considering buying one. However, you could buy a 2007 R8, save a bunch of money, and only the purists would know it wasn’t a 2020. |

I'm a big Porsche fan.....the video with the Porsche Ferrari and Lamborgini dragging was very kool. I think the Ferrari is the best looking of the 3, IMHO. However as stated above, I'd probably go Porsche for daily drivability and reliability. Not to mention the price point.
I'm almost 60 now and I think the Porsche Turbo S would be in my garage if I had the cash. It strikes me as a more useable, comfortable car that can also be a weapon when needed. I also like the fact that it's a sleeper when parked next to just about every other sports car out there. |

My 96 993 is no garage queen. I love to drive the thing, it currently has about 80,000 miles on it. I have a good mechanic and spend generally about $2K a year on maintenance and repairs. I love that Ferrari but I wouldn't want to put miles on it for fear of losing value and repairs.

Turbo models are made for people who like fast, but are not sound fanatics, need everyday usability, "quiet" car etc Porsche made wide variety of 911 model for all type of people from base Carrera to hardcore GT2 RS.

I’ve also been looking at 17-19 Turbo and a Turbo S. Always a nice way to save money. Not too much difference in performance.

Similar performance. Way nicer interior on the 992. If you care about that stuff.

Honestly, I feel the materials in the 991 are a bit nicer and the 992 is a bit more plasticy like the piano black. I also don’t care for losing the ability to see all five gauges anymore and I don’t care for the shaver shifter. I also like the 991 steering wheel a bit better. Weird, I know.
