Here a few things were currently feeling at the moment.
1. PAIN

2. Betrayal

3. Getting struck down by E-thugs

4. Deception from other users who mean "good"

Yes it is funny. You can stop laughing I know....

Honestly, I don't like it. The majority of the sub-forums are still ok, but I have a sneaking suspicion the people from the main site will be trickling their way down to the 1-specific forums and, well, there was a reason I never posted on e90post before.

I guess it is more a personality thing. I just don't find forums like e90post and others worth going to every day. I just found 1-addicts to be a more mature crowd than 99% of the rest of the internet. That is why I posted there. I hope it stays that way. If it degrades, I'll stop posting regularly and start coming here just when I need help with something. I have a feeling a LOT of people will be doing that.

its so confusing because:
  • i cant see old 1addicts posts
  • i had a login name for both 1addicts and e90 before the merger and not only the e90 on works and i've lost my 1addicts one
  • I cant search for my old 1ddicts account because it leads me to the e90 "forgot your password" page and not the 1addicts one
  • clicking on old 1addicts links lead me to e90 posts.......

but i do thank the guys that put it all together so far since I own an e90 and e87 hehe im at both places at once

This is my first visit to this forum and I wanted to check it out. I live in Manhattan and I see lots of 3 series but not too many 1 series here.

In any case welcome to E90 post to all of you 1 series owners. There are a lot of knowlegable people here and there is a lot of valuable information on these forums. Unfortunately there is also a lot of immaturity exhibited here.

You have to learn to tune out the "My car is better thatn your car" crap and consider the source particulary when the cars the posters are bragging about in many cases are very likely imaginary.

Trade you even up, the E92 M3 for a 135i, then.

There's 'hot and then there's "HOT".

why is it, that when you subscribe to a post, and receive and update to the thread, the link always takes me back to the beginning of the post???

Mark has been great to me, many thanks! The visuals are superior to our old site.

That said, I miss the old Mods and have come to appreciate them even more over time and how well they tended our old site. Many thanks to you all!!! It may be a matter of taste but I prefer the old, smaller and friendly format particularly in the off-topic section. I can't cut loose and have fun participating like I used to. Seems like I have to measure every little word. Whatdaya think?
still lots of bugs, all offtopic post emails take me to e90 forum's link, and don't sign me in, and to the 1st page of the post

also the new off-topic forum members are mostly trolls, I do not like the merger at all, the old mods would ban half the members there so the rest of us don't have to deal with them

I still miss my username, the party line was they merged with us, but reality is we were put into the e90 forum database, so our old thread bookmarks got destroyed, and usernames like mine were changed because somebody on e90 forum had it already

I wish the forums were completely separate, like the mini forum is

I don't get taken to the beginning, but it's never close to accurate. I thought I was the only one, but that feature has been completely broken for me for quite some time now. And it happens with threads made since the merger, so it's not an issue just with the older ones.

I too miss the old mods. The trolls are a pain, and the mods are so slow to respond. And TJ is back, how does that happen? Hasn't he been banned from all the BMW forums yet?

that's really not a bad idea... i'm getting tired of this place. just seems that it's not mod'ed well enough anymore, and just frustrating to read. which is disappointing, since this is where i used to rely on for good information about the car...
