2nd this. We got engaged and married there. The people are amazing! The night before our wedding we ate at Goldie's in the Fish Fry. We were the only non-Bahamians there. They found out we were getting married and the DJ called us up on stage and everyone started cheering. The locals were all coming up and congratulating us. I still chat with our wedding planner here and there.

We're going to Exuma for 8 days in May and I can't wait. We've been there for a day before and the water is unlike anything I've seen anywhere else in my travels.

Handsome! You look like almost every guy I dated and my ex husband. I definitely had a type. Dark hair, mustache and the devil in your eyes. And we all dressed up back then.

Thank you. The dark hair has long ago turned grey but the moustache remains. I only ever shaved it off once and that was before this photo.

Yeah - started going darker as I got older - almost black now. Dad was the same - he had blond ringlets as a kid (used to get called a girl a lot) but as he got older it became straight and black.

I was old enough to legally drink in 1983.
