Shops are already closed on Sundays in Germany. It's a different work/life culture that doesn't translate.

there was a podcast here recently discussing how some automakers are getting data like your weight and selling it 3rd parties. modern cars have those sensors in each seat to see if there is an occupant and if they are buckled up.

weight 300 pounds -- you're probably unhealthy -- more likely to have a crash, more serious injury, and have longer recovery. car maker sells this info to insurance, you're premiums go up.

So there are statistics that correlate morbid obesity to higher occurrences of automobile crashes? Why, because peeps are eatin' Big Mac while they drive and drip the special Mac sauce on their shirt?
