It's still hearsay. Ferrari are keeping quiet about their coming 'coffee machine' and their last two Le Mans wins should make us think a bit about the very good electric management in those 24 hour races.

Allison not saying that much in that Merc has modded the way the car takes slow, medium and quick corners but technically he's saying zilch. Talking to the younger fans that are just joining F1 wide eyed then

I'm pretty sure Allison is the designer from the new Benz bulge and the suspension upgrade and that's why they won the last 2 races .

Remember... Mercedes was nowhere before the bulge appeared.
The Benz is back my friend (!)

Red Bull comes with new upgrades as well , hopefully they fixed the RB20 setup mess..
Next weekend it will be very hot in Hungary , and that can be an advantage for the HONDA PU .

Hard to say. I guess it all depends on the timeline.

I think Sainz may be in the mix if Checo gets cut after Hungaroring. He knows that his remaining options mean he will never come close to a WDC. So it's Red Bull or bust.

If Sainz makes his decision then it's kind of up in the air. Maybe Yuki? I love Ric but he doesn't deserve the seat imo. I would much rather see Albon back at RB but that won't happen any time soon.

I would love Leclerc to finally realize what a mess Ferrari is and go to RB but unlikely.

More on what the bulge on the Merc could be hiding, a main top horizontal spring/damper connected to 3 more dampers through two thick anchor brackets and rods lashed to a bottom roll bar.

It's worse than we think it is .The steering is unpredictable , Checo can't even turn with the car (!)
The RB20 front suspension really s@cks . Front of the car is too stiff ...

Saw some press talk that some of the recent changes to the cooling like the side gills haven't been supported by Newey and he wasn't consulted. So it appears it could get changed latter this season or next.

Interesting that it appears all isn't quite so smooth internally within RB (shock) as it appears and how the Newey departure might influence future direction for them.

In the free practice the teams are using an extra hole in the front brakes to messure the temps of the brakes and tires .
McLaren has kept the extra brake hole in the races , which can serve as additional cooling for the brakes and tires .

Was it this ...Why the McLaren was so kind to the tires ?
It seemed like the McLaren tires lasted forever (!)

Anything is possible at those speeds and temps and it sounds like an illegal mod to me.

The last few races have been really good and I expect another good race in Hungary. Apart from the on-track action there are many track side events happening during the race week that include fan zone, this race after party and this meetup. Hopefully, the weather will not be too hot for the drivers and the spectators so everyone can enjoy the whole weekend to the fullest.
