I can understand their frustration. The Cayenne does feel heavy but it’s an SUV, so expectations are met. My reference was more about the V8 and the part it plays in the driving experience.

On a sedan I believe the weight would be very present and no one wants a sports sedan that handles like a sports SUV.

EVs are good, but they can’t beat the practicality of a Hybrid that gives you enough electric range for your daily commute with a heart pounding V8 growling underneath for when passion calls for it.

Very much looking forward to the new X5M with the hybrid platform as soon as BMW comes to its senses and decides to gives us back AC control buttons, at a minimum.
Did you cross-shop it against a Turbo/S/GT? Purely by the numbers, weight especially, without having driven any of these, I'd assume the pure ICE versions would deliver a significantly better experience.

I have the Cayenne Turbo. There is just this and the GT. No other options.

It'd have to be '23 or earlier, but point taken.

Hopefully they will offer better options than those available for G45 X3 (no carbon black, no skyscraper grey).

Of course color is subjective but..
