If its friends, I usually make sure I order separately its easier that way.

However if its a girl I am trying to go out. I have no problems paying for the first date but if she offers to pay her half then thats a big plus! Then I will tell her next time... (if there is a next time). If a girl offers to pay, it kinda makes me wanna pay the bill more lol but I try not to spoil them. Unless if its her bday or a special occasion.

The thing with me though is I am not one of those guys who likes to constantly buy them "gifts" and I will never buy them jewelry unless its a fiancee. I know a lot of guys are a sucker. There are many ways/things I can make them happy without buying gifts/jewelry. If she is a gold digger then she will never be happy and I will not waste my time with her. I am not cheap I am just smart with money and with girls. I dont let them take advantage over me perhaps like the previous guys they sucked in. A lot of "nice" guy will spend so much to the girls.

I always tell the girls that I go out with, that I am not a nice guy (maybe sometimes) but I am a gentleman. Some ppl know the difference and some dont... Nice guys will get walked all over.

The thing with me is that when ppl see I drive a nice car and now a new BMW or a BMW for that matter and when they know where I work they see $$$$$ and I will never tell a girl how much I earn maybe "approx" between $45k - $95k lol.

If you meet up some place without prior planning than it might be called for. But, you are missing an opportunity to fill the role of gentleman. However, this only applies to girls who are worth it. Dirty whores get enough drinks to get them drunk enough to get taken advantage of. After that they are lucky to get cab fare!

IMHO, if a plan was set in stone to go out to dinner together, it is the man's responsibility to pay. If you can't afford to take her to dinner, learn to cook. This is your first opportunity to prove your ability to provide for a woman. Once again, this only applies to nice girls, not whores.

Hahaha if I remember correctly I never bought a chick a drink at a club/bar before unless they are with me already. Mind you I still got laid without buying them drinks lol.

Depends how you ask if you say, "I'd like to take you out for dinner" then it sounds like you will pay for it. But if you say "We should go out for dinner sometime" then both of you can pay half and half...

Never, ever pay more than $10 on a "date" (coffee/tea/snack) with a girl you're not intimately involved with. At that point, it's all about getting to know each other anyway.

I have friends who met women on Match.com, and then went on $150 sushi dates the first time they met, and had to shoulder the bill. That's a classic symptom of having no game.
