Dude comes in with a legit yogurt extraction problem and other dude solves it. C'mon man...let us have our problems...don't solve them or else we have nothing to moan about.

Cliffs notes: One guy can't let another guy have a problem. Just has to solve it for him.

Rode my motorcycle into work this morning. Saw the weather was a bit chilly at 50° this morning so I threw on my heated jacket. Well, about 10 minutes into my hour ride the battery died, so I had to rely on my perfectly in shape body to supply warmth.

De-fogging a car's windshield during humid conditions never actually gets rid of the fog. It simply pools it all together near the base of the windshield. If the area of the pooled fog gets too large and starts to obstruct your view, you have to turn on your windshield wipers but then that causes streaking and smearing resulting in even poorer visibility. Rinse and repeat the cycle.

I just found out I may have to start going into the office a few times per week (I work from home). Might kill myself.

What kind of terrible place would make you come in to the office these days?! I would never do that to an employee unless we were having a meeting with a customer.

My 401k match is only 3% and vesting is +20%/yr
My favorite $11 sandwich place is too far to walk and too close to drive (like 0.7mi)

I love my office. Very roomy and comfy and I have it all to myself. Good place to get away and think. Only 5 minutes from home, so that helps.

I suppose it being that close to home helps. The two states I have homes in my offices are about 20 minutes or so from my house; the majority of my employees live about the same or farther. When the weather sucks it makes it much harder for me to want to leave my already comfortable house. I also built the houses so I have a very nice space that is my office in each so it makes it harder to want to go to a place I already know there will be nobody.

That entire statement is filled with FWP, all of them still suck.

I love my office as well. All the "Eaton" engineers have cubes, but I've got an office that I share with my one coworker.

Only downside is being an hour away.

Gives the woman plenty of time to have dinner ready, though.

I have three cars and a two car garage. Constantly have to plan days in advance which car will be driven at what time and by whom. Complete pain in the ass.

I'm going on my fifth year of working from home. The previous company I worked for did not have an office in Texas, so I didn't have a choice. However, the consulting firm I work for now is global and they have an office about 10 minutes from my house. I go in about once a week and I find myself being extra productive.

I used to deal with the 3 cars, 2-car garage hassle. Glad those days are over. We could almost get away with one car now, but our schedules occasionally conflict and Wifey doesn't like driving my C300 because it's "too big." I refuse to have an 8-year-old Civic as our only car, so we keep both. I'd rather let her Civic take the door dings at the university anyway.

And before anyone lays into me about her driving an 8-year-old Civic, it's her choice. I wanted to get her a 1-Series or a Mini, but she won't have any of that as long as her Civic is running well, which it is.

Condiments again...

sometimes i use a few dashes of tabasco on my lunch and when i do a little drop runs down the outside of the bottle neck and then when you re-cap it, the tabasco gets crusty and then the next time you open the bottle the tabasco crust goes onto your food.

I passed my exit on the freeway this morning due to an awesome conversation (via Bluetooth) and then the next exit had construction going on and the next exit was like another mile so that sucked ass balls.

Reminds me of the old joke: What's the difference between yogurt and LA?

Yogurt has a live culture.
