well, their defense is terrible - they yet again lost another double digit lead in the 4th quarter and lost to the Mavs.

when he's healthy, he's a solid MVP Candidate...

I think in about 10 years everyone will be talking about Rose like this: "man, remember when DRose played basketball - he was the most explosive player on the court every night. if he could have stayed healthy, he would have won a couple rings and gotten a handful of MVP awards".


anyways, Rockets put up 112 without James Harden, against the Wolves who only managed to score 102.

all starters were in double figures again....

I can't think of any player in the league that brings the leadership, post season experience, scoring ability, defensive lockdown ability, and overall clutch magic that Kobe brings to the table in one package.

This is all assuming he's even close to the same player he was before his injury.

seriously, Rockets defense is the worst shit I've seen with those caliber of players. Fukin Bobcats can play better D then that.

and JLIN can't guard anybody for shit. EVERYONE runs all over him.

I think Harden may be the worst on ball defender in the league.

well, Harden is a superstar on the court with his scoring ability and he's been voted the best SG in the NBA.

that said, he won't be an ELITE SUPER DUPER STAR unless he can play on both ends of the floor like Kobe and King James have for many years.

I hate having a superstar on the team that's a liability on defense - might as well be Dirk or Carmelo.....

But I know what you're saying. At least your Rockets team can put up huge numbers...but yes they def need to D it up. Holy shit, giving up 100+ points to the mediocre of teams is not going to get them anywhere. That, and their 4th quarter collapses so far have been pretty hard to watch. That being said, it's still super early, and they can only improve from here.

Harden won't be considered elite until he actually learns how to play defense. Until then he's going to be "Melo" level, an iso-player who can score, but not much else.

D rose is going to be the next Tracy Mcgrady. Tmac was my fave player back in the day. Until he kept getting injured.
