The bad part here for the Sox is that the Yanks will get fired up over this. Game 4 could get very ugly, and not just by the score. I'm thinking some plunking and a bench clearing brawl. CC will be out to make a statement again. Porcello won't be shy, though. Could be a very interesting game.

Sev folds in the clutch, Malaka is above average at best, CC has seen better days, Sonny Gray is trash and Happ is probably their best but had a bad inning in game one.

Offseason: Get rid of Gray, let CC walk and think about trading either Torres or Andujar for a front line starter. Tough to let either one of them go but pitching wins in the postseason and the Yankees lack it. DeGrom and/or Thor would look great in pinstripes. Not sure what FA pitchers would be available?

You guys can have Price and Kimbrel for a bucket of balls. We just won the ALDS and I'm sitting here fuming mad because Kimbrel buckled under pressure and almost blew it. Thank gawd for Jack Daniels.

Cora took a huge risk bringing in Sale. However, it all worked out. Boone should've taken CC out after loading the bases, and Redsox hitters putting good wood on the ball on every at bat. I saw the debacle coming. Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could've been. Down only 4, Yankee bats were silent. Yankees couldn't get the big hit with RISP. Redsox have a balance offense, and are fundamentally sound. As a Yankee fan, I can't root for Boston, however, they had a great season. The ALCS should be fun, however, I lost interest now that my Yankees are out. Go HOUSTON...

The team has taken a few steps back from their 2015 WS appearance. Injuries, bad luck and questionable managerial moves is what’s holding them back. Wheeler/Matz have the talent but can they be consistent all season long? Vargas was a bum all season but the biggest bum in NY is Sonny Gray. He needs to be put on a rocket ship.

Yankees have issues. Stanton needs to go and would only accept a trade to the Dodgers as they have too many big boppers and need some clutch hitters. Didi may be out till the ASB (All Star Break), Sanchez needs to improve behind the plate, Ellsbury can join Sonny, Greg Bird is lost and this is before me touching base on the starting pitching which is subpar. I’ll gladly trade the Mets rotation for the Yankees in a heartbeat.

DeGrom > Sev
Thor > Malaka
Wheeler > CC
Vargas > Gray
Matz < Happ (FA to be)

Houston is loaded. They are the GSW of MLB and cannot be stopped as you can only hope to contain them.

And Correa has been absent in the post season thus far. Even if my Yankees would’ve got past the Redsox, the Astros would’ve been tough. I truly miss my Yankees. It’s like a extended family, that you follow from spring training in March, to October. From watching Yankee rewind at midnight, to sitting in the bleachers. The 2019 season can’t get here fast enough.

The Sox were gifted 2 runs tonight. Otherwise they would have been blanked. Price goes tomorrow and he is stone useless in the post-season. This series will go to Houston with the Sox down 0-2 and they'll get swept.

I'll be shocked if Price is above mediocre. But regardless of what he does, the Sox can't win if they don't score runs. They can't keep hoping the other team will screw up like last night. That could have easily been a shutout.

I would bet the house that Price will get rocked and Boston loses tonight. Could be a sweep but the Astros are a great team. Assuming they make the WS, they will steamroll the Dodgers or the Brewers.
