Reading too much into the comment.... Never said or intended to imply income is $100K / mo. If you start with $100K and subtract whatever income you'd lose (maybe none if just using vacation time or maybe more than a month if you are self-employed and need to ramp up business upon return from disappearing for a month) the result may be (or would be, if self-employed) less than $100K. Take taxes out of whatever is left and the $100K could easily be cut in half in terms of incremental cash gained after sitting in the cabin for a month. Combined with extreme boredom I'd anticipate after a few days or a week, my answer is "no thanks".
