I agree, and I could certainly entertain myself as well. I don't think the vast majority of the general public could do it though, seeing how many of them are constantly glued to their screens in fear of missing out on something posted on social media.

Reading too much into the comment.... Never said or intended to imply income is $100K / mo. If you start with $100K and subtract whatever income you'd lose (maybe none if just using vacation time or maybe more than a month if you are self-employed and need to ramp up business upon return from disappearing for a month) the result may be (or would be, if self-employed) less than $100K. Take taxes out of whatever is left and the $100K could easily be cut in half in terms of incremental cash gained after sitting in the cabin for a month. Combined with extreme boredom I'd anticipate after a few days or a week, my answer is "no thanks".
