I think that you blew out some yellows. They're just like whites. Have you turned on your "blinky" lights in the Preview screen? i highly recommend that, so you can see blow outs in the Preview and apply some -EV.

I thought that too. No they're not turned on, but i've checked them in LR and no blown whites were showing. I'll check again.

Even if no blown yellows were indicated, I still lowered the luminance of the yellows. Much more pleasant to the eye.

I also prefer this. What I thought was blow out might have just been variation in the yellow of the petals.

Chewy it was at Portovenere, La Spezia, Italy. i was there for about an hour trying to find a good spot to get some light on the rocks.. My girlfriend and friends left me there and went to see a church or something

weebl i´ve thought about it, it would be a good test to check the screen colors on paper.
