Has some Camaro in it sure. But this is a badass whip. If I didn't have such a hard on for nimble handling and luxurious interiors I'd definitely love a 5.0.
In today's climate guys, we should just be thankful for any new ICE, especially V8s.

Underrated comment. BMW's stupid reverse trapezoidal dark ass gauges need to go. At least give us a digital option for the traditional round orange ones.

They are saying probably a bit higher than the Mach though so about $60k. Seems crazy how expensive cars have gotten. |

I don't think this is going to change any minds. Its too similar to the outgoing s550, and I actually like the LCD dash option better in that car. Mild power bump, similar enough look that nonethusiasts will probably confuse them if they aren't side by side.
It'll do fine. Especially since it'll be the lone contender in the na v8 space soon. Challenger and charger are going away. Camaro isn't being refreshed. I just hope there are more engineering changes we aren't seeing. A stiffer chassis for one. The biggest downside is that the chassis engineering still has to be shared with an ecoboost in the low 30's and consequently has to be cheap AF. |

Definitely a lot of Camaro, Charger, and Challenger ques in the new Stang, but still looks like a Stang. I do like the cleaner look. The rear fenders are a bit too much in terms of arc height.
I've said this for a long time, this car is about 12 inches too long. So much wasted exterior mass. The current gen Stang is over a foot longer and 3 inches wider than my M235 yet has less interior and trunk room, way less rear passenger room, and somehow weighs 300lbs more. The new M240 RWD on proper tires will make quick work of the new Stang. Mod for mod, no chance. |

No, this will be the most powerful Mustang GT ever made, not the most powerful NA V8 they've ever made. The 2022 GT is 450hp. I'd expect 470ish for the 2024 GT. I doubt it will be much quicker assuming it's gained weight.

Sporting a new, sinister horse-head badge, the Mustang Dark Horse is powered by "the most powerful Coyote" V8 ever I don’t know I know the GT350 was a Voodoo Coyote so maybe I’m read into it. Guess we will see. |

Somehow the headroom specs are half an inch or so lower than the Camaro. Not sure how that is even possible...

Can you imagine a Mustang with the 2-Series proportions? Yikes. Every Mustang has had a long hood and short rear decklid. That's where the majority of your space is going. At least it'll sound better than anything in the price bracket.

Mustangs aren't exactly known as track beasts.... the more track oriented ones run times on the 'ring roughly in line with F8x cars. A touch slower overall to significantly slower for the plain GTs.
