Checking out the google map and street view. It just seems like an odd place to have a race.
Those people that live on JFK Blvd, will have a front row seat. Their houses are literally right on the street. |

An artist impression of the pit straight of the NJ GP...
The last two corners kinda resembles the Melbourne track...

WOW.. it would really be amazing to actually see it come to be and be able to go.. It the above artist rendetion is somewhat correct.. i wanna simply put a chair on the roof of that apartment building....
Boy is it gonna cost alot to "convince" those people of the disruption in their lives for about 3 weeks. boy traffic in and out is gonna be a mess LOL like it isnt already.... It will be a good thing for the Tri-State area / North east for sure... my guess is that the race will happen in jersey, but all the teams and support will stay in NY. where do you stand in line to get tickets ????

This is so awesome... my parents own an apartment 1/4 mile north of the hairpin turn on river rd. I'm so pumped. I had the biggest smile on my face all day.

Clockwise
http://e90post.com/forums/showpost.p...8&postcount=52 The turn numbers are a bit fuzzy, but you should be able to tell from "T1" thru "T10"....

Seems cool, and I'll support it. But I think Bernie really had his heart set on a race through time square. Maybe this will be a stepping stone if NYC can fall in love with F1.
But it still feels like a settlement, and not the prized goal.
