I was wondering if you went LS or old school big block. I think LS is the way to go. Well done, my friend, well done. I'd still love to see some more pics if you find the time to post.

Many beautiful cars here and just wanted to add the 300SL Roadster to the list...
As for the 300SL Roadster’s beauty, when the late Hugh Hefner was interviewed in 2009 by the LA Times, he stated. “…through a lifetime you reinvent who you are. I actually reinvented myself the first time when I was 16, when a girl rejected me. I started referring to myself as Hef, started changing my wardrobe — the same thing I did in 1959-60 with the magazine, when I came out from behind the desk and started living the life and got the first Playboy mansion, started to drive a Mercedes 300SL Roadster, started living the life.”When asked why a 300SL Roadster, he stated that "it was the sexiest car ever created". I’m not about to argue with Hef regarding what is sexy. |

Absolutely! A superb choice. (I'm sticking with the E type as my favorite of all time, though.)

Espada. Sleek and sexy with a V-12 purring like a young Sophia Loren in heat. One drive and you head for a cold shower.

BMW E46 w/ZHP (M-Sport Package) has a timeless design. This particular example doesn't even show its age IMO. 20 year car and it looks better than many newer cars on the road.

If I could rewind my BMW life to the ideal time, it would be 2005-2008, when I had an E46 M3 AND an E46 325i Touring, which I upgraded with the M Technic body kit, BBS wheels and more. The E46s were my favorite BMWs ever.

One of the photographers I work with here in Houston did a photoshoot with an E46 M3 touring conversion. I have never actually seen it in person which is odd because Kevin told me it lives in my neighborhood but it looks great in pictures. https://capturingthemachine.com/page...9049ddb7&_ss=r [QUOTE=Llarry;31212247]

Most beautiful Aston of all time. It could be yours! On BaT now. No affiliation, but rather only appreciation.
I saw one of these 30 years ago, parked on a street in an urban setting. It left a memorable aesthetic impact. Last edited by chassis; 06-18-2024 at 09:58 PM.. |

Blast from the past.
Here's a favorite car from when I was a kid. A 1971 Triumph TR6 Roadster. My best friend had one in this same color and we had mucho fun in it. Definitely not the most beautiful car in the world. |

The 1990s Nissan 300ZX is the car that was responsible for getting me started on BMWs in 1994. I moved in with my girlfriend who had a minivan and thought now I can finally have something sportier. I zeroed in on the 300ZX initially. But for a bit more money, if I remember correctly, I could get an E36 BMW 325is coupe, which had just introduced traction control. While I never got over my admiration for the 300ZX of that time, that E36 started me on my BMW journey -- and now I'm driving my 10th BMW in 30 years.

I always liked this car, very unique, but when I saw it in person, I found it very massive and impressive for this jdm era, and feels solid. While, lately, people said the Golf R mk8 looks way better in person, and that wasnt the case, still somewhat ugly. |

Not enough American muscle up in here, with big square noses. I had one, and still want to resto-mod one with all the suspension and braking: 1970 Mercury Cougar (non-XLR). It's actually the backside I like the best, with recessed sequential-trigger tail lights.
This is the actual original color I had, but had Earl Schibe paint it black for me later.

You're right: Not much American representation here, other than cmyx6go's split-window Vette.
For big square nose American iron, I'm gonna go with the early Pontiac GTOs. There was the '64, and then for '65 it got stacked dual headlights.

There are many most beautiful cars, many of which have posted here. I'm a bit biased, but my 2003 BMW 540i with M-Tech package is my favorite beautiful car.

The E39 5 series is a future classic and the 540i M-Tech the pick of the lot. You're a lucky man to be the conservator of that fine car.
