Try a new store label (Irresistibles) version as it looked good on the box.
Well, despite that I cook it almost twice as long as the instruction called, the crust did not cut it... Actually it was not crisp enough to cut through it in one strike. Also, it was rather cheap on the cheese but I could not resit the 2 for $8 deal... I'll cook the other one at 425 and see what happen. |

Shepard's pie for dinner later. I like to refrigerate it first, let it sit and then re-heat portions. It holds better and doesn't fall apart.

Soufflé saumon
Recipe by Bruno Albouze So darn good! I have made and posted this here before. Soufflé with Mornay sauce and Scottish salmon. A nice aspect of this is the combination of textures from puréed salmon in the soufflé together with cubed pieces of salmon. Gruyere and nutmeg notes in the Mornay sauce. Served with salad dressed in fresh lemon juice, EVOO, shallots, fresh thyme, salt and pepper. Fresh grapes for dessert. |

Had a wet (green chile) chicken chimichanga. Honestly, had to step aside, even though it was SOOO good. Just too much goodness to fit in my belly.
Additional bolus of insulin needed about 2 hours later . . .

Went to Tip a Cop for Special Olympics (NOT quite like tipping cows, the cops have guns) and got a WONDERFUL Moroccan salad. Made a mistake in ordering steak on it, I could barely cut the steak with the knife. Snuck it into a napkin and took it to the dog. She has a lot more time to chew on meat than I do.
