I bought a dreadmill too - some high tech thing with a widescreen and apparently I can do walks in NZ while on it - a little taste of home. It gets delivered Tuesday. 460 lbs, no install service, and I have a bad back. This ought to be fun.

More Timbermate. Finally (I think) found the finish that I'll go with.

One of my lighting fixtures in the garage finally gave out and I'm getting tired of replacing the fluorescent bulbs. This is the perfect time to convert to full LED. I have six 4ft fixtures, 2 bulbs each, 12 bulbs total in my garage (2 fixtures for each car space, 3 spaces total) Going with these 4 bulb fixtures. I'll still be using 6 fixtures, 4 bulbs each fixture for a total of 24 "bulbs", 7000 lumens each. This will double the light in each car space. Perfect for late night garage work!

LED is the way to go. Did it in my garage and you get much brighter light and no buzzing.

Embroidered floor mats for the M2 made by IND. Got them from a fellow board member. Subtle but nice...

We used our treadmill all the time. For hanging clothes and other such things. Walk on it? Not so much.

If you do use it, look into Zwift. They have some pretty cool running tracks. Getting involved in some sort of program is a great motivator.

I've been taking amateur photos my whole life. Then early on won some 'super 8' video competitions. Nothing really serious as my career always got in the way of doing photo/video more seriously. Made some videos for the schools, local groups but again, just dabbling.

But also being an engineer, love the technical aspects of learning to fly it, control it and then weave in the still/video aspects to create some fun shots.

Generally got it to see where I can take it. I live in the mountains so anxious to get her out for some panoramic shots.

I *really* wish that somebody would make a device like this that also includes a volume knob and forward-facing speakers and sits under an iMac screen!!!!!

The stock online photo is no good and I'm not taking a picture modeling pants for you all, but ASRV tech joggers for the gym. Have been wrestling with the spend, but considering I'm at the gym 5-6 days a week, it's cold, etc. it was worth it. Expensive, but the quality is well worth the price.

Why not just use a good speaker and sun set? Volume is on the front of my old Klipsch speakers.

In my case, I just want a single unit to bring the ports and speakers from the back of an iMac to the front.

The rear-firing iMac speakers on my office computer can rattle windows in the conference room across the hall from my desk in the open, yet I can't hear a word on a video conference from my desk chair even cranked to 10. When I had the same computer against a padded room divider (common in cube farms), it would at least absorb the rear-firing speaker noise but was still not audible from my desk chair. I'm not an audiophile, and don't listen to music.

Headphones are also not an option, since I need to interact with people in person and frequently have 2-3 people at my desk watching a webinar who also need to hear it.....

This is a speaker with a knob on it:

https://www.amazon.com/GOgroove-Comp...0486846&sr=8-4

Pair it with a usb hub and you are set!

Also, that CalDigit TS3 Thunderbolt Dock posted has a headphone jack on it. Just plug in a pair of speakers into that.

This is a Young Chang full grand. The wife grew up playing and has been talking about getting a piano since I've known her. Figured why not go big.

My wife went plant CRAZY this past year. We have those same plants in the same style pots! She especially loves the Monsteras we got.

So sold the M5 last October and finally got my new build. Changed it up quite a lot but definitely needed a truck for the family. Got a 2021 Silverado LT Trail Boss, Crew Cab, Regular bed (6.5") with of course the 6.2L.
