Yea check out their YouTube channel. Amazing musicians cover a ton of songs, even iron maiden.

This band is great. I read they have a variety of musical backgrounds. IMO they can keep up with the best rockers, plus their look is cute as hell. Ear and eye candy for us "masters" and "princesses" (what they call their male and female fans).

From their Wiki page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Band-Maid
Oh my Gosh I did not expect to see Band-Maid talk here. Yeah their musical background can be heard in their music which can be best described as a blend of metal, hard rock, jazz and blues.

Their discography is also very diverse. You have tracks like "Manners" which is old school hard rock to "Reincarnation" which is the heaviest of metal to moody and feelsy ballads in "About Us" and "Daydreaming" and just absolute chaos like in "Different" and "Puzzle".

I didn't expect to hear a singer that sounds like he's possessed by the devil and needs an excorcism, so aren't we both just a little bit surprised!

Haha I would be lying if I said I didn't fall out of my chair when he did the pig squeal thing at the end.

Here's something less terrifying

His old HMV stereogram would be cranking out Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Roy Orbison and Slim Whitman at full blast. Maybe I'm mellowing out in my old age ( I'm 50 in november), I now appreciate music that I wouldn't have given the time of day to 30 years ago.

Mine too! I've taken possession of 5 of their 7 albums recently. Their second album "New Beginning" is on it's way, a very expensive Japanese only import.
