When Wifey and I saw The Moody Blues a few years ago, we were in the lower end of the age range. I was in my late 50s then and Wifey was in her late 40s. Lots of former hippies there.

I took Advil (ibuprofen-200mg) for about two weeks. Half a tablet in the morning and half in the evening for back pain. Now I have very dark stools and have to go see a gastroenterologist. The fun never ends.

Loved climbing the rope in the gym. Our coach marked the rope with
tape at the 10 foot level as a “that’s high enough” but I always climbed
right up to the beam the rope was fastened to. Coach watched, but never
told me to stop. However, my coach did tell my dad on parent’s visit day
that it worried him a bit. That was about the only thing I was good at
in P.E. Got C’s in all the other sports activities.

I was one of the skinny ones and, using my feet, it took me a while to reach the top. The gym rope and cargo net climbs were the only "F" grades on an assignment that I ever received in high school. I made it up in the stupid state agility tests, where I was #1 in the class. The gym teacher accused me of fudging my score the first year, and made me do it again while he and the whole class watched in disbelief. Walking to school every day (uphill both ways) came with a side benefit of incredible leg strength.....
