I've been traveling and working a convention the last few days and had no time to comment on the several great shots that have been posted. Great stuff guys.

lets mix it up a bit. afocal shot with an orion xt-8 and a canon t2i. 1/30th shutter. I have lighter shots but this one shows the most color

This is almost a 100% crop because I didn't have time to change lenses. But this raccoon is one we call Buddha because of the way she sits. She's waiting to see if I toss out any peanuts.

Great colors in the bird pix. It's great to see your interest, but you should strive not to shoot the bird's ass. It's pretty easy to get pix of birds, but the real challenge is getting them in a pleasing position, with the perfect head angle and a light in the eye.

Here's an ordinary American Robin in a Captain Morgan pose. It takes hundreds of shots usually before everything lines up.
