This is what did the most harm. I am a very private person. Everyone knows me where I live so I tend to not make a stir on the internet. The only thing I do that may raise an eyebrow or two is the "spirited driving" with the car club. Other than that, quiet...private...low key.

That's fair - I just have a slightly wider category of people than you. But in each case it is people who have done something illegal that has (or history has provided evidence that they will) cause harm to innocents.

Fair enough. I believe that the ones I mentioned are brain or spiritual defects that cannot be repaired but through God.

Nearly everything else is bad decisions which need to be heavily sanctioned and rehabilitated.

I was reading some motivational magazione at my brother's house a week or two ago, and the emotional control was even in there. Give "it" a name, and then use the name to help you at least recognize when said emotional character is present.

I've been seeing a lot of Wreck-It-Ralph of late, but it did help me to tone down the "discussion" with my wife when we went to the whole "I don't know" = "Wede doesn't give a fuck, and not going to help you" routine.

MK's story just circles back to my motto, no irrational or crazy. So much irrational and crazy out there.

I'm married but i'll throw one out so i can vent. We got a book shelf for our five year old, mrs wanted in front of his window that has a shutter, i said that's gonna end badly as to open the shutter you need to remove everything from the top of the shelf. I'm not dying on this hill though so install it where she wants it.

2 months later I open the shutter, all the shit from his shelf falls. She picks "everything" up. Kid's lips are cracked so needs his chapstick, it's not there and she moans how I lost it and we need to order another one. Now, we have issues with spending money, she makes a ton more than i do but spends proportionally even more.

I a can be short fused so consciously did not raise my voice but admit i was a bit...how you say...my voice had rolled eyes in it so to speak. I said, "it has to be up there, it is on the floor". Cue the mother of all meltdown, she absolutely loses her fucking mind.

I go upstairs and find the chapstick right near the shelf.

Needless grief over nothing.

Thats no valid logic to proof. What do you ASSume is, that everybody make mistakes or mishaps after a certain time period

After 20+ years, yes, she has made mistakes. Just because SHE doesn't like a particular tree in the yard (MY domain) doesn't mean she should call someone to kill my tree and rip it out.

There are more decisions that are made in a vacuum, and then I get treated as one of her children when I want to have a discussion on the decision she has already made. We are SUPPOSED to be a team.

There may be no "I" in team, but there certainly is a "me".

Best of luck! I pick the hills I want to die on. Surprisingly, there are few hills good enough for me, so its fairly rare. We usually compromise because we are a team.

Wait, wut? It concerns a tree in the yard that she would get rid of it?
Even if you are master of your domain I assume that you had talked to her to plant this poultrytree before it got done, aint? When you live into a household where all decisions should and had made as team, this hadnt occure.
But I know women who treat their partners sometimes like their childs when something went wrong.
When Im the next time onto my way to Santa Barbara I would chime in when passing Oxnard to be your bystander at anger management
