BTW, I heard Ontario P.D. issued Staccatos to their line. Must be nice!

superlative arms adjustable gas block

Put one of these on my latest 223 Wylde build last month on a recommend from a friend and it worked well, so last weekend I got another one and put it on my "Gas Master 3000" AKA my 6mm ARC thermal coyote build that was gassy BEFORE I put a whisper pickle on it......now it's basically a face painter.

These have a full closed setting, a standard adjustable setting, a wide open setting, and a vent setting so instead of just blocking how much is sent thru the gas tube and leaving the rest in the system - it takes what it needs and then vents the rest into the atmosphere. I wound up being able to set it to full vent with zero malfunctions, so I clicked it back in 3 clicks and called it good. One shot used to coat the next 3 rounds in the mag pretty well, but as you can see this helped that significantly. Surprisingly it shifted my point of aim to the right about 6 inches, but that was easy to correct.

FYI - If anyone was like me and never heard of them - worth a check out if you need an adjustable gas block.

I finally got to shoot it today, sorry no video. It is pretty quiet on a bolt gun. I shot it a few times with no hearing protection and it did not bother me. Accuracy was fine but it was odd that it moved my zero so much vs my 300 omega. Three shot to adjust then it was good to go. The brake on it is ok but not as good as the omega with slightly more felt recoil but still less than no brake at all. Total gun weight less than 7.5lbs with a 56mm Z6 Swarovski and the can. Incredibly light package and only 41.5” long total.

That is extremely light! What gun is that and what is it chambered for? Thoughts on accuracy and also felt recoil given its light weight?

It is a Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT chambered in .308 with a 16” barrel. It has an accuracy guarantee of SUB-MOA. That is what I am seeing out of it personally. Recoil is fairly light suppressed and even lighter with the factory muzzle brake (hold your ears). I would compare is to a standard .243.

It’s an absolute joy to hunt with. Super light and short so it’s really easy to manage. I used it last year with my omega, the scythe is icing on the cake.

The news only lists a few talking points, but its a total attack on the 2A.

As said above, lets not get this locked.

And if you look it up, you wont find ALL the things it impacts. The media is only focusing on a few topics.

Very true but, but if you watch Leary's interviews on YouTube he lists all the details, He was the one leading the petition for the signatures for stopping the law. He owns Cape Gun Works and as you can imagine is a huge 2A advocate being the what type of business he owns.

I used to work in CNC doing gun components I am glad I no longer work in state doing that as my job would be in jeopardy.

Toby is a bit annoying... lol...

I was referring to the mainstream media not covering everything.

I should have grabbed a 2011 when I had the chance. I am sure I will be kicking myself later or will have to pay an insane amount for private sale and may not be exactly what I want...

I did grab 2x AR10 lowers and a AR9 lower the day of as I never have built either and can have fun playing with uppers of various calibers. Last thing missing is a comp pistol...guess I will have to buy used.

and yes the media is not covering any of this correctly. It is an insane violation of 2A rights. The only hope is it is so wide sweeping it will get shot down in the future and will open up more for us...but that could be a very long time coming or might not come at all.

Thank you for the report. That barrel is sexy AF BTW.

Mine is still in jail. I've never ever gotten a fast approval.

I do already have an Ecco Machine end cap & plan A mount for it sitting in the safe, though

My Echelon did not like being suppressed. Only ran my Odessa 9 on it (7 baffles) I'll try my Obsidian 9 in short config next trip before I give up.

Ran the same ammo (And can FWIW) that runs great on everything else. Federal AE 147gr brass.

Anyone have to get another spring to run it with a can reliably?

Mine had a lot of FTE or failure to fully cycle the slide

Yes! You should have!!!

And correct, the media is hiding all the anti 2A stuff, and saying how it is just a red flag/ghost gun bill...

FYI, here is my Staccato..

Looking to get a P365 micro. What holster do you all use for concealed carry? This is my first time for concealed carry.

Back strap or no? Extra mag holder or are you comfortable with just the one?

I use a minimalist trigger guard holster when I carry my P365. It’ll depend on your comfort level.

What material do you like for the backing? Leather? Suede?
